Spey Casting Class with Charles St. Pierre
This is a full day class with Charles St. Pierre of Northwest Speycasting and will focus on the Spey casts needed to be a successful pursuing steelhead, salmon, and resident trout. Learning the primary fundamentals of Spey casting technique will be the focus of this class. This includes proper grip, stance, hand and body movements, fly/anchor placement, D-loop shape, and forward cast. Control of Tempo, Tension, and Trajectory are the foundations of every well executed Spey cast. Learning and practicing these fundamentals is essential to the progression of skill and efficiency needed to present the fly effectively in nearly any fishing situation.
This class is recommended for Intermediate to Advanced Spey casters and will be held on Sunday, June 3rd.
